Birchwood Places First in Ohio Math League Competition

The Math League offers contest for students in grades 4 through 10 that translate well to online learning and social distancing. Over a million students in the United States and Canada participate each year by answering 35 multiple-choice questions in 30 minutes. Students in each league compete for the highest scores, while schools contend for the highest team score: the total of the top 5 scores in each school. The Math League’s goal is to encourage students’ interest and confidence in mathematics while solving relevant and worthwhile problems.
