17th Annual
International Festival and Auction
Birchwood's 17th Annual International Festival and Auction is Saturday, December 3rd, from noon until 4 p.m., at the school. It is a day to celebrate the diversity of Birchwood while raising funds to support the school.
The IFA is our major fundraiser. This is our primary means to raise money, above and beyond what is raised with tuition. This money pays the cost of academic competitions like Future Problem Solving, Power of the Pen, History Day, and MathCounts. Furthermore, these funds play an important role in the professional development of Birchwood's teachers, such as continuing education, workshops, conferences, memberships in professional organizations, and subscriptions to journals. It is an essential fundraiser for us.
Every year, families and friends have a marvelous time at the IFA, socializing, enjoying mouth-watering multi-cultural foods, and bidding on items which have been donated for the festival. This year there will be:

- The traditional Silent Auction for merchandise and services
- The Live Auction for priceless items made by each class, plus vacations, golf packages, and more!
- The International Raffle: a chance raffle which includes creative class projects plus gift packages
- A 50/50 split raffle. Winner get half of the money we take in for this raffle
- Kids' rooms with games and a movie
